1958 Isetta Tim Morris

What is your name?  Tim Morris

Where are you and your car located? Bend, Oregon USA

How long have you owned your Isetta?  approx. 1 year

What other information can you tell us about your car?  1958 Isetta 300 deluxe. We restored it in my shop, German Master Tech Inc, in Bend, OR. It took one year start to finish.  The car was found/saved from Texas and was a nice rust free example, albeit very tired.

That being the case we built the factory stands for the body and chassis. It made the work go easier and made for good in shop

showing.  We used lots of NOS and good parts from Isetta's are Us. We acquired a German Army surplus industrial engine, which we suspect was on a water pump. It was torn down to inspect and was found to be like new, you know how the German's are on maintenance. The car is a very strong runner, 60MPH and 60+MPG, here in Bend at 3500 ft. We painted it sand dune beige over coral red. Did proper paint color research, '58 export, two tone. Great color combo if I say so... Interior is white Isetta basket weave with red piping. Orig. L&R visors are one of my favorite touches. Instrument restored by Palo Alto Speedo, looks like a jewel.

"Nemo" has been a lot of fun. Every drive is a parade. Every stop a car show!!!
